Masala Milk Powder Recipe

- Half cup almond
- Half cup cashew nuts
- Half cup pistachios
2 tbsp chopped pistachios
7 to 8 students of turmeric
One-fourth tbsp of nutmeg powder
10 to 12 green cardamom
- First, roast all the nuts for 2 to 3 minutes on low heat and then they start giving an aroma. Avoid excess roasting as it will ruin the taste.
In the same pan add saffron strands and used them for 20 seconds on low heat. Use a mortar to passel them in powder form.
Mix the roasted nuts saffron powder nutmeg powder green cardamom paper called sugar and milk powder in a grinder. Grind for 30 seconds. Check the mix and if necessary grind for more time.
Avoid grinding the mixture for long else the nuts will start releasing their oils and the mixture would become clumpy. The mixture should be wet.
Let the milk masala powder cool. Add chopped pistachios and place them in an airtight container. Store the container inside a refrigerator.
Add 1 tablespoon of milk powder to a cup of boiling milk. People who like sweeter can consider adding more sugar.
Alternatively, if someone is not using saffron they can just add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder to help get a feel of yellow saffron. Avoid grinding the mixture for too long as it can make the taste of the nuts a bit bitter.
